North Marysburgh
North Marysburgh offers plenty, including some of the very best views of lake Ontario. You’ll come across wineries, restaurants, art studios, farm stands and charming little hamlets.
In this design we see the popular (and free!) Glenora Ferry crossing over from the hamlet of Glenora to Adolphustown.
First Nations, including the Wendat (Huron), Haudenosaunee (Iroquois), and Mississauga, dating back over 8,000 years, inhabited the area. There were once over 500 first nations villages in PEC, and a population possibly larger than the current one.
Samuel de Champlain came through the area in 1615.
