Mont Tremblant, in the Laurentian Mountains of Quebec, is best known for its ski resort a few minutes from the town proper, and featured in this design.
The area offers many outdoor activities including hiking, cycling, and canoeing. Mont-Tremblant boasts a world class race track, the Circuit Mont Tremblant, that hosts Formula One car races as well as Ironman triathlon Quebec
First Nations, including the Algonquins, dating back over 10,000 years, inhabited the area as hunter gatherers.
The area was later settled in 1872 by Antoine-Labelle, a parish priest who established his parish in 1879.
