Kingston

Kingston,  located in eastern Ontario, has a rich history in Canada.
 
Kingston has many heritage buildings constructed from local limestone, which is why it is sometimes referred to as  "Limestone City".
 
First Nations, dating back over 10,000 years, including the Iroquois, Huron-Wendat,  Anishinaabe, and  Haudenosaunee, inhabited this area.
 
Cataraqui, Kingston's original name means" Great Meeting Place."
 
Kingston is famous for many things, but perhaps my favourite is that it is the hometown of the Tragically Hip.
