Guildwood

Guildwood, also known as Guildwood Village, located just east of the Scarborough Bluffs on Lake Ontario, is one of Toronto’s most beautiful neighbourhoods.
 
The Guild Inn founded in 1932 as “The Guild of All Arts” , a retreat for artists and craftsmen with workshops and studios, located atop the Bluffs, was and still is a mecca for art lovers. 
 
Grey Abbey Park, featured in this design, sits high upon the bluffs, at the foot of the Glenabbey trail, and offers some of the most spectacular lake views in the area.
 
First Nations, dating back over 10,000 years, including the Mississaugas, Seneca, Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat, used Scarborough’s land for portages and travel, trade, hunting, and living.
