Dufferin Grove

Dufferin Grove is a vibrant family neighbourhood, ranked by British magazine, Time Out (2018) as the 39th coolest neighbourhood in the world . Yep, you read that right… in the whole world!
 
The Dufferin Grove district was first settled by the Denison Family, who emigrated to Canada from England in 1792. 
 
A central feature of this locale is of course Dufferin Grove Park, featured in this design, and a gathering place for all ages and all seasons.
 
The majority of houses in Dufferin Grove were constructed in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, and they range from Victorian to Edwardian, and even some English Cottage style designs.
 
First Nations, dating back over 10,000 years, including the Mississaugas, Seneca, Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat, inhabited this area.
