Doe Lake has three sections; Big Doe Lake, Mediu Doe Lake, and Little Doe Lake. The Doe lakes are located within the Parry Sound District in Ontarion.
Doe Lake is the largest lake in the Almaguin Region.
The beauty of Doe lake is enjoyed by the many cottagers on the lake, and well as a number of summer camps including Doe Lake Girl Guide Camp and Big Doe Camp.
First Nations, dating back over 10,000 years, including the Wendat, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee, inhabited this area.
The Anishinaabeg people have traditionally used the area for hunting and trading.
