Consecon

SKU: 186

Consecon, is one of the closest PEC locale to Toronto, and yet retains all its fishing village charm. Could Consecon be the next PEC hot spot?

Although Consecon village wasn't formally known as  a village proper until the early 1800's, it entered the history books in 1615 as a place where Samuel de Champlain is said to have had one of the best sleeps of his life.

The Grist Mill, featured in this design, originally built in 1808, and then rebuilt numerous times.

First Nations, including the Wendat (Huron), Haudenosaunee (Iroquois), and Mississauga, dating back over 8,000 years, inhabited the area. There were once over 500 first nations villages in PEC, and a population larger than the current one.

Samuel de Champlain came through the area in 1615.
